Another screen shot utility
Window Clippings looks like a nice utility for capturing windows in either XP or Vista environments.
Good points:
- free
- captures round-cornered windows accurately
- captures transparency
- reasonable flexibility in save formats.
Not-so-good points (forgivable for a free utility):
- no option to capture an entire screen (just windows on screen that don’t fill the screen)
- no option to capture a selected rectangle.
Alternatives:
- Gadwin PrintScreen is pretty good, but messes up the corners of round-cornered windos (it’s free)
- WinSnap is surely the best screen capture utility – but it’s no longer freeware.
Leave a comment if you know of something better.
